We are one of the largest accredited community living organizations in Ontario providing services through a variety of programs which include; Accommodation Services and Community Support Services in the Barrie area. As an organization we look for individuals who demonstrate initiative, collaboration, resilience, creative problem solving and an ability to advocate and foster independence in others.

P.S.W. graduates from an accredited college will be considered for employment. Candidates must have a minimum of two to three (2-3) years full-time relevant experience in the social services/health care field. You will be required to successfully complete six (6) specific courses from the DSW program within a three (3) year period as a condition of employment. You must be available to work all shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays and commit to working up to 59.5 hours biweekly. A current clear criminal record check with a vulnerable sector screening check, pre-employment medical, valid class G driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

You will provide supportive services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in all aspects of daily living in a group home setting. Duties may include support with finances, medical appointments, personal care, household duties, meal preparation, and supporting individuals to make connections within their community.
